Inventory Accountant in Carmel, IN

ctor of Finance. Essential position responsibilities will include Regular review of inventory levels to determine when stock is low, and works with Supply Chain team to perform purchasing activities to bring inventory to established minimummaximum storage levels Assuring that receiving, inventory and shipping procedures reflect both sound financial practices and the needs of the company Performing cycle counts Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzes variances Assisting accounting staff with establishing standard costs Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger Preparing inventory journal entries as needed Working with Shipping Receiving to coordinate movement of all received and disbursed inventory items Assisting Shipping Receiving with daily workload as needed Required skills Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related position 1 yrs of inventory accounting background as listed above, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong customer service orientation. This position will interface with internal customers. Highly motivated, passionate and creative team member with demonstrated commitment to the organization. Demonstrated expertise to work in a collaborative, team environment with expertise to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature and flexible manner. Excellent organizational and time management expertise with expertise to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
