Amish Entertainment Center & Display Cabinets in Carmel, IN

$2,300 Amish Entertainment Center & Display Cabinets

Beautiful Amish built entertainment center with side display cabinets. I had this unit custom designed to hold either a large traditional TV (what I had at the time) or a big flat-panel TV, while also hiding a couple bookshelf speakers and being able to display dragon themed sculptures I'd collected. I've moved to a new house and really don't have a good space for a unit like this anymore, so its up for sale. The fine folks at Amish Furniture Mart (now known as Simply Amish in Castleton) built this for me and its truly wonderful craftsmanship. New, this unit would probably cost $5k or more. Take care of this, and it could be with you for years and years to come. - Center TV Stand - 60"w x 20"d x 26"h. Unit has two glass doored shelving units (one shelf each) that are more than spacious enough for most reasonable entertainment components you'd need. A center storage area, with a wood door, hides a built-in power strip that you can plug your electronics into. Holes have been cut into the back to allow wiring to be taken in and out, and holes are inside between the shelving areas to allow passing cables and speaker wires from one side to another. Once the back panel is installed, a hole could be drilled into to top to allow cables to drop down inside the unit instead of having to go down the back. - Two side cabinet units - 78"h x 24"w x 18"d. Bottom third of unit is designed to hold a bookshelf speaker behind black mesh paneled door. Upper 2 thirds features a 3 1/4" thick glass shelves, easily capable of holding a sizable collection of heavy artwork. Each unit has a halogen lamp inside to show of the contents. The right tower has a touch-sensitive hinge that turns on both sets of lights. Perfect for displaying your special collection of whatever. - Center bridge - 60"w x 20"d x 18"h. This unit is offset above the side cabinets so that the top of it is, when installed, is 82" high. It features a single adjustable shelf spanning the entire inside length with a power supply mounted in the bottom of the unit, for powering any electrical devices you might want to put up there. - Back panel (NOT PICTURED) - 60"w x ~37"h. This solid wood back panel should be capable of holding up any flat panel you desire. I never actually used it as I had a DLP TV and never got around to purchasing a flat panel. So this panel is ready for you to configure as far forward or as back as you want. Thinner flat panels you may want to install the panel be closer to the front than thicker ones. According to the specs on Samsung's site, it should be capable of holding one of their 60" flat panel TVs. Really, it'll depend mostly on how big the surrounding bezel is of the screen, how big a screen you want, and how much of the back panel you want to display. I know when I designed it, I was thinking 46" might be what I'd put in there, but now if I set it up, I'd probably put 50-55" TV in place. Some other features, all the door locks have been equipped with magnetic child locks. These locks are the best type of child lock you'll find on the market and will keep your possession safe from little kid hands. Easy enough to disengage when you want to. Some light scratches on top of center stand, not very noticeable and left tower unit's mesh fabric has been pulled out of its mounting by an inquisitive cat. Should be very easy to fix.
